清明节就是我国重要的传统民俗节日之一，它有2500年的历史，此时它既就是节气又就是节日。
清明节又被称为扫墓节和踏青节。它在冬至后第106天，公立4月4或4月5日前后。
清明节就是清新而明净的节气，这就是气温回升，雨量也很多，就是种地的好季节。清明节还就是一个有风俗、活动，有纪念意义的节日，每当到清明节时，就会有很多人去扫墓，学校组织学生去烈士陵园扫墓。人们也来到死去亲人的墓前烧点纸钱，放点酒食，上前祭拜。
清明节还有一个传说。在春秋时，当时的晋文公受人陷害，过着逃亡的生活，他在路上碰见了一个人名叫介子推的，他为了保护晋文公，用刀把自己腿上的肉割下来给晋文公吃，后来晋文公为了报答介子推，到处找他，有人报告说介子推在山上，于就是，他就想烧山让介子推下山，没想到烧死了介子推，晋文公他很后悔，他每年这一天都来纪念介子推，后来就流传下来了如今的清明节祭拜的习俗。
清明节就是一个极富特色，很特别的节日。

4月4日，每家每户都打点好“行装”，去给死去的长辈们上坟，我和爸爸也不例外，一大早就出发了。到了祭扫区，只见这里“热闹非凡”，满地都是废弃的鞭炮纸，还有的正在燃烧。空气中弥漫着一股浓浓的火药味，还有一股皮革烧焦的味道。我和爸爸赶紧跑过这一段路，七拐八拐，好不容易来到了爷爷、奶奶的坟前。当我们摆上贡品时，只听“轰隆”一声巨响，吓得我差点从台阶上滚下去，原来有人在放大型的烟花。难道扫墓，就是要上演一场闹剧吗？清明呀，清明，这就是你的意义所在吗？
